Get Ready for Darwin Perennials Day
Preparations for Darwin Perennials Day are well on their way, and I am so excited to share several updates!
The official perennial garden bed plantings began on May 18. Some beds overwintered and others were completely revamped and replanted. Several new beds include a Dianthus comparison as well as one showcasing deer-resistance. We also designed a new shade area south of the beds where you can experience different shade varieties and how well they work together. So, get ready to be awestruck on June 18, 2025.
This year we have expanded our new variety showcase. It will include anything that is new in a supplier program as well as what’s new from the top breeders for 2026. It will all be showcased on the perennial pergola in one area for your easy viewing.
