The event promises a complete perennial experience with Zone 5 overwintered trial garden comparisons, a new variety showcase, interaction with more than 27 top suppliers from the perennial industry, and on-site experts for continued education.

Darwin Perennials Day is a one-day event open Wednesday, June 17, from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm. Your visit will include:

• A grab ’n go breakfast as well as mid-day lunch

• Outstanding suppliers for learning and networking opportunities

• Exciting plants in the New Variety Showcase

• Tours of extensive perennial garden beds from leading perennial breeders

There are three educational sessions as well:

“Chicago Botanic Garden’s Top Performers Perennial Trials,” presented by Richard Hawke, Director of Ornamental Plant Research

“Cut Flowers with Dave,” presented by Dave Dowling, Ball Seed Cut Flower Specialist

“Echinacea Best Practices for Spring, Summer and Fall,” a panel discussion with top industry experts.
