New Cold Room Completed at Darwin Colombia

Darwin Perennials
Team Experts

We've officially opened our new cold room at our Darwin Colombia supply farm near Bogota. The expansion increases not only our square footage for storage, but it also offers better temperature management for the products supplied by Darwin Perennials.

We've also redesigned our picking process, giving cuttings from Darwin Colombia the best environment possible before they are shipped to customers.

Below, Anna Ball and Mike Klopmeyer cut the ribbon during the formal unveiling in late-September.

Are you really growing plants for North America in Columbia ? Shame

Thank you for your comment, Leslie. Our Darwin Colombia farm only produces vegetative cuttings and tissue culture for North American greenhouses and nurseries, so they can finish and supply garden stores and mail-order catalogs across the U.S. and Canada. We do not sell finished perennials. We support the greenhouse industry with the best climate to grow a healthy and broad assortment of products for our customers.
