Arctic Blaze™ Salvia named UGA ‘Plant of Distinction’

In its Sept. 19 announcement for its “Plants of Distinction” merit, the Trial Gardens at the University of Georgia highlighted Salvia greggii Arctic Blaze™ Fuscia. Plants of Distinction are chosen and photographed by Meg Green, who is responsible for growing and planting the trial gardens, as well as data gathering on their performance.

Arctic Blaze Salvia has returned successfully in West Grove Pennsylvania, a 6a heat zone for a couple of years now. These are flexible, mounded habits that flower throughout the summer.
