General Information : Long-blooming blue flowers attract butterflies to the garden’s edge or rock gardens.
Both flowers and seedheads are lovely in arrangements.
Prefers partial shade in hot Summer climates; avoid wet soil in Winter.

Grower Information : Compact, tidy mounds of deep green, basal leaves with wiry stems hold single, round, lavender-blue flowers. 
Daylength : Scabiosa will bloom under any daylength, although plants will tend to be taller as days lengthen.
Propagation Information : Avoid saturated media. Apply preventative fungicide drench if soil temperature is lower than recommended.
Cool Treatment
Plant Maturity: Cold treatment beneficial, but not required for flowering. Plants should be bulked under natural short days for a 4-8 week period. Mature, bulked up plants will respond more favorably to cold treatment.
