The Colorado State Univeristy flower trial garden in Fort Collins, Colo., determined its award winners in early September. The Salvia Mirage Cherry Red performed very well and was given a "Best Of..." award for the 2016 season!

According to the judges, the "prolific, bright cherry red flowers were large and made a great hummingbird attractant for the garden. Abundant branching made a very attractive full plant. Plants maintained good growth habit."
