Our Darwin Colombia farm is cleaning house! New initiatives are helping us move towards 100% clean production for our perennial supply. For instance, we’ve implemented an on-site Tissue Culture lab. Any new varieties will come from TC only – quarantined until proven clean and worthy. We’re also leading the charge in stock renewal from tissue culture. Darwin Colombia has on-site pathology support for basic virus screening and culture indexing, with an option to escalate to our West Chicago pathology lab. All these changes are truly an investment for the future!
